The SOCAR WIN Open Innovation Program, a joint initiative between SOCAR and Viveka, is currently accepting applications from startups, scale-ups, and technology companies. This program connects real operational needs within SOCAR to innovative solutions developed by companies around the globe. The goal is to test these technologies in actual energy operations, rather than relying on theoretical demonstrations.

Selected companies will receive up to €17,000 ($20,000) in Proof of Concept (PoC) funding, without giving up any equity. They will also collaborate directly with the relevant SOCAR business unit and have access to SOCAR's operations for real-world pilot implementation. The program provides a structured 2-month PoC period, with jointly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and regular progress reviews.

To be eligible for SOCAR WIN, applicants must have a technology at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5 or above, a working prototype or product already deployed elsewhere, and a solution relevant to one of SOCAR's focus areas or current challenge themes. This includes Production Enhancement, Efficiency & Optimisation, Business Excellence, Health & Safety, Industry 4.0, Low-Carbon Economy, Clean Energy, and cross-cutting industrial technologies. The program has no geographic restrictions and is open to applicants worldwide.

The application deadline is 22 September 2026. Even if your technology doesn't fit neatly into one of the listed challenge areas, SOCAR still encourages you to apply if it addresses a meaningful problem in energy or industrial operations. For more information, visit the SOCAR WIN program page or apply using the provided link.
