Addigy launches Intelligence Suite, giving IT teams control over how AI is used across their fleet

Apple administrators face the challenge of managing AI use across various apps, services, and platforms. Addigy has launched an Intelligence Suite to address this issue, providing IT teams with new tools and controls to enhance compliance while enabling the use of AI tools in a controlled manner. Addigy specializes in device management software for managed service providers and IT teams working with Apple devices.

The Intelligence Suite integrates AI directly into the platform, offering an AI layer within the existing software rather than as a separate console. Jason Dettbarn, Addigy's CTO and founder, highlights the difficulty IT admins face due to time-consuming tasks such as syntax, filter logic, report building, and check-in delays, as well as concerns about the trustworthiness of AI tools on users' devices.

Addigy's AI Script Assist helps administrators write, audit, and recommend actions for approval, adhering to the customer's existing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) rules. The platform's natural language reporting allows IT teams to focus on what they want to know rather than how to build the report. The Intelligence Suite emphasizes running AI entirely within Addigy's environment, with no customer data sent to external models.

Every action is processed locally, and all AI capabilities come with built-in guardrails. The new Intelligence Suite also introduces an MCP server that exposes device management control planes to AI agents, with admin-set guardrails for every action taken by the agent. Furthermore, Addigy provides prebuilt compliance rules to help Apple IT admins monitor, control, and block AI tools across their Mac fleet, addressing the issue of employees adopting AI tools faster than IT can onboard them.
