Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember Gets Release Date, Demo Available Now

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, the highly anticipated sequel to the action-soulslike game Wo Long, is set to launch on March 4, 2027. The game will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S (with day one availability on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate), and Nintendo Switch 2.

Excitement surrounding the release was evident at this year's Xbox Showcase. Now, fans can get a taste of the game with a free playable alpha demo now available on the aforementioned platforms. However, the demo is only accessible until September 30.

The demo offers an in-progress character creator, allowing players to customize their avatars. Additionally, it features online multiplayer for up to three players. Players can explore the expansive open field of Changban, engage in intense battles against Cao Cao's forces alongside Liu Bei's army, and face off against demons inspired by legendary Chinese classics.

Upon completing the demo and meeting certain conditions, players will unlock the Fledgling Phoenix Helmet cosmetic item for use in the full game. This exclusive item is a reward for dedicated players who dive into the demo and test their skills.
