Ukrnafta begins ORLEN Arctic diesel deliveries to Ukraine ahead of winter

Ukrnafta, the largest gas station network in Ukraine, has initiated deliveries of ORLEN Arctic diesel, according to company statements. The first shipments of this specialized fuel have already arrived in Ukraine. The range of diesel grades offered by the Ukrnafta network includes transitional-season fuel, winter-grade, and Arctic-grade products, all tailored to fluctuating weather conditions and market demands.

Ukrnafta's Management Board Chairman, Bohdan Kukura, announced preparations for the 2026/2027 season, focusing on building reserves and securing diverse, reliable supply channels to ensure customers have access to appropriate temperature characteristics of diesel fuel during cold weather.

Recently, Ukrainian gas stations have faced threats from Russian drone attacks. On September 15, Russian jet-powered drones targeted two Ukrnafta gas stations in Kyiv, one on the right bank and another on the left bank. A second attack occurred on September 15, striking one of the sites. On September 11, Russian drones assaulted Ukrnafta gas stations in two Kyiv districts.

A drone strike on September 10 at a gas station in Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv resulted in a fire, injuring four people. Ukrnafta JSC is the nation's leading oil producer, involved in the entire production cycle, encompassing exploration, oil and gas production, oilfield services, and management of the country's largest gas station network, Ukrnafta.

The company owns over 1,106 oil wells and 131 gas wells, with shareholders including Naftogaz of Ukraine and Ukraine's Defense Ministry. Ukrnafta has been under state management since 2022 and is undergoing a significant business transformation. Ukrnafta's gas stations, previously part of the Glusco, Shell, and U.Go brands, have been rebranded under the single Ukrnafta label.
