Sesame Street Parodies Chappell Roan with Potty-Training Anthem “Got to Go”: Watch

In July, Sesame Street unveiled a potty-training anthem titled "Got to Go," a parody of Chappell Roan's "Hot to Go!" featured in the album Parody Party. The video showcases Cookie Monster, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and their pals, wearing outfits reminiscent of Roan's "Hot to Go!" video look. Cookie Monster initiates the song with lyrics that resonate with parents and children, such as "There might be a mess if I don’t get moving," leading into the chorus "Got to Go."

This catchy tune assists parents in guiding their kids through the potty training process, from recognizing their body's signals to washing their hands after. The Parody Party album also includes other catchy tunes, like "Take a Bite" by Cookie Monster, "Where Is My Lovie" inspired by RAYE's "Where Is My Husband!?", "Go for the Gold" based on KPop Demon Hunters' "Golden," and previous YouTube exclusives "Sort It All" (Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off"), "Share It Maybe" (Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe"), and "Me Want It (But Me Wait)" (Icona Pop's "I Love It").

Chappell Roan recently performed at Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival and joined Noah Kahan for his "The Great Divide Tour." The singer is set to host her "The Super Graphic Spectacular" fundraiser in Los Angeles on October 21st and 22nd, aiming to raise funds for trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities.
