Samsung Starts Rolling Out Stable One UI 9 With Android 17

Samsung has initiated the distribution of the finalized One UI 9, built upon Android 17, to the Galaxy S26 range following a period of beta trials. This update is being rolled out to the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra across multiple regions. South Korea was the initial country to obtain the stable update, which arrived as an over-the-air download of approximately 650MB.

Samsung is emphasizing My FanCam and AI-powered Now Brief Cards as significant features introduced with One UI 9. The update also broadens Now Brief's capabilities, enabling users to craft and modify their own cards using generative AI. Additionally, Samsung has enhanced Now Nudge, enabling users to accomplish supported tasks with fewer steps.

Other enhancements included in One UI 9 are improvements to Creative Studio, Interpreter, Document Scan, and Voice Recorder functionalities. Furthermore, Samsung has added a new Warranty and Care settings menu, which was previously outlined in August. The stable One UI 9 rollout has now commenced for Samsung's Galaxy S26 flagship series, with availability spreading across different markets.
