Russian strike on central Kropyvnytskyi injures 4 – regional governor

On the night of the Ukrainian capital's aftermath, a Russian drone assault struck a warehouse in Kyiv, engulfing it in flames and obliterating valuable stage props from the famed Kvartal 95 studio. The studio, co-founded by former Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, reported that the strike destroyed numerous sets, costumes, and other resources used in the studio's numerous television productions, film projects, and live performances over the past two decades.

In a defiant statement, the studio vowed to carry on with their work, stating that "Russian weapons can destroy property. But they cannot stop us. We will keep working, writing new jokes, and helping Ukraine’s defenders. All scheduled concerts will go ahead — with or without the props."

Tragically, another warehouse belonging to the Olena Zelenska Foundation was also leveled by the drone strike. The foundation shared on social media that the warehouse was consumed by the flames, yet no casualties were reported. Inside the building, humanitarian aid that the foundation had collected or procured from international partners was stored to distribute to Ukrainian children, families, and institutions.

The Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported that a Russian drone targeted a warehouse situated in Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi district, setting it ablaze and causing one injury.

Kvartal 95, a Ukrainian production company and a significant part of Zelensky's legacy prior to his presidency, was established in 2003 by the famous KVN comedy team 95-y Kvartal. Over the years, the studio has been instrumental in creating and supporting television shows, films, series, and concert programs, playing a pivotal role in the Ukrainian entertainment industry.
