Russian attack damages education facility in Ukraine's capital, targets Kyiv Oblast infrastructure

On September 16, a Russian drone attack struck an education facility in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, along with additional infrastructure in Kyiv Oblast, according to authorities. The four-story building in the Holosiivskyi district suffered damage to its facade and windows, leading to a small fire that was soon put out by emergency responders.

In the Brovary district, situated east of Kyiv, a utility building, agricultural equipment, semi-trailers, and a car were damaged, while a fire broke out at a private property. Homes and commercial infrastructure also sustained damage in Fastivskyi district within the oblast. Russia has been conducting fatal attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilian facilities throughout its ongoing war.

On September 15, Russian forces targeted Kyiv, resulting in one death and at least 12 injuries, as reported by local authorities. Earlier that day, a gas station in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district was hit, leading to one person being hospitalized in critical condition, who later succumbed to their injuries.
