Rise and Fall 2 final contestants: Karan Patel, Swara Bhasker join Virender Sehwag’s show

Amazon MX Player's Rise And Fall Season 2 is set to expand its lineup of contestants, with popular names Karan Patel, Swara Bhasker, and Virender Sehwag joining the show. The announcement of these new contestants comes after Ashneer Grover stepped down as the host and was replaced by the cricketer Virender Sehwag.

The show, based on the concept of the "haves and the have nots," will feature 15 contestants competing in a game. Last season, participants had to choose between a golden suitcase for rulers living in a luxurious penthouse or a silver suitcase for workers residing in a basement with basic amenities. The workers had to complete tasks, while rulers had the power to make decisions.

Rulers started the game with a prize pot of Rs 25 lakhs, while workers aimed to earn more to move to the penthouse. The worker who accumulated the most money won the game. In Season 1, TV actor Arjun Bijlani emerged as the winner.

With the new contestants and the return of Sehwag as the host, Rise And Fall Season 2 is expected to kick off in the second week of October on Amazon MX Player.
