Over 30 hornbills flock to Khao Yai villa garden

Nakhon Ratchasima, September 16, 2026 — An unusual sight greeted tourists and guests at Maison de Joy Villa Khaoyai in Pak Chong district on Wednesday morning: more than 30 hornbills flying into the forest garden. The flock was spotted in Moo 2, Ban Mai Samakkhi, Mu Si subdistrict, amidst the mountains and surrounding forest. The hornbills arrived in the morning to search for food in the villa's garden and the neighboring forest before gradually flying back towards the forest and their nests later in the day.

Visitors to the villa were quick to capture photos and videos of the birds as they moved through the area, drawn by the sight of such a large number of hornbills.
