Obama mourns family dog Sunny

Known for her high energy and playful nature, Sunny regularly ran across the White House grounds, chasing squirrels and birds, while preferring to spend time with the family, particularly the Obama daughters. She was particularly protective of Bo, sensing his need for greater alertness. Obama fondly recalled Sunny's distinctive habits, including her love for the family and her distinctive approach to enjoying life.

Reflecting on Sunny's impact on the family, Obama praised her loyalty, affection, and adventurous spirit, describing her as "pretty much perfect." He expressed his deep sadness at her passing, mentioning that she would be with her big brother Bo, caring for him.
