Nebraska and Notre Dame announce home-and-home series with games in 2032-33

Nebraska and Notre Dame have jointly announced a home-and-home series, with games scheduled for the 2032 and 2033 seasons. This marks the first time the two storied programs will face each other in over three decades. Athletic director Troy Dannen expressed excitement about welcoming Notre Dame and their supporters to Lincoln in 2032, as well as anticipating a strong turnout from Nebraska fans in South Bend the following year.

The series will consist of games on October 30, 2032, and October 29, 2033. Notre Dame leads the all-time series record with 974 wins, while Nebraska follows with 933. Together, they have amassed 13 national titles, with the Fighting Irish claiming eight and Nebraska five. The last meeting between the two occurred in 2000 and 2001, with Nebraska emerging victorious in both contests.
