Myles Garrett Injury Could End Rams’ Season, Says Super Bowl Champion

The Los Angeles Rams are in a precarious position without defensive end Myles Garrett, according to Super Bowl champion Darryl "The Beast" Canty. The star linebacker believes that the team could face an early exit from the season if Garrett fails to return from injury soon. Canty made his remarks on Tuesday's "First Take" show, expressing that his sentiment may not be well-received, especially considering the team's recent reinforcements.

Garrett's absence is particularly concerning as the Rams' defense has suffered other significant losses. Players like Jared Verse, Cobie Durant, Ahkello Witherspoon, and Roger McCreary have all left the team, joining new teams like the Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders, and Carolina Panthers. The Rams even suffered a 27-7 defeat at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers in Australia, which could have further damaged their defense.

While Canty might be overstating the defensive unit's overall strength, he may not be wrong about their ceiling if Garrett is unable to fully recover from his injury.
