Ministry of Justice, Qatar Television launch program to promote legal awareness

Doha, Qatar - The Ministry of Justice and Qatar Television have teamed up to launch a new program called "Rule of Law." This initiative aims to boost legal culture and raise awareness among citizens and residents about their rights, responsibilities, and the legal processes that impact their daily lives. The program consists of 16 episodes in its first season, featuring simplified and interactive legal content presented by legal professionals, lawyers, academics, experts, and specialists.

The program covers a wide range of topics relevant to community members, including healthcare services, tenancy and real estate, contracts, labor and employment rights, family and personal status issues, inheritance matters, consumer protection, financial obligations, and commercial transactions. It also addresses digital transformation concerns such as cybersecurity, digital extortion, privacy, data collection, and safe social media usage, as well as insurance, loans, mortgages, and dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.

Additionally, the program will explore children's rights, family protection, and legal liabilities in business activities, offering the public a platform to ask questions and discuss legal issues they encounter. This initiative showcases the Ministry of Justice's commitment to enhancing legal awareness, promoting respect for the law, and utilizing national media to disseminate legal knowledge to the public, all in line with the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030 to build a society founded on justice, knowledge, and the rule of law.
