Ministry of Justice, Qatar Television launch program to promote legal awareness

The Ministry of Justice in Qatar, in collaboration with Qatar Television, has introduced a new program called "Rule of Law" to promote legal awareness among citizens and residents. The initiative aims to enhance the legal culture and spread knowledge about rights, duties, and legal procedures in daily life. The first season of the 16-episode series features simplified, interactive content created by legal professionals, lawyers, academics, experts, and specialists.

The program addresses a wide range of topics relevant to the community, including patient rights, healthcare services, tenancy, real estate, contracts, labor and employment rights, family matters, personal status, inheritance, consumer protection, financial obligations, commercial transactions, cybersecurity, digital extortion, privacy, personal data collection, safe social media usage, insurance, loans, mortgages, dispute resolution, children's rights, family protection, legal liabilities in business activities, and more.

Through this initiative, the Ministry of Justice seeks to foster a culture of respect for the law and improve legal awareness among the public. The program also encourages communication between specialists and community members to discuss legal issues, ensuring that legal knowledge is accessible and reliable. This effort aligns with the Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030) goals of building a society based on justice, knowledge, and the rule of law.
