Two Indore men, Arif Saksensingh Gujjar (24) and Somnath Samansingh Rathod (23), have been arrested by the Kalachowki Police in connection with theft incidents during the Ganeshotsav celebrations in Mumbai. The arrests came after devotees reportedly chased and caught the suspects while they were allegedly fleeing the scene after stealing a mobile phone and cash from a security guard.
The suspects, both residents of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, were identified following the theft of a mobile phone worth ₹25,000 and cash from a security guard by Michael Bablu Nadar, a security guard working in Malad. Nadar raised an alarm and fellow devotees caught the suspects.
