Harga RON97, RON95, diesel tanpa subsidi naik 35 sen

Starting from next month, the prices of petrol RON97, RON95 without subsidy, and diesel will each increase by 35 sen, according to the Finance Ministry. RON97 will be sold at RM4.85 per liter until September 23, RON95 without subsidy at RM4.37 per liter, and diesel without subsidy at RM5.27 per liter. The BUDI95 scheme will keep RON95 prices at RM1.99 per liter, while BUDI Diesel will maintain diesel prices at RM2.10 per liter under the BUDI Diesel initiative.

The subsidized petrol under the Petroleum Control Management System (SKPS) will remain at RM2.05 per liter, and subsidized diesel through the Subsidized Diesel Control System (SKDS) will continue to be sold at RM2.15 per liter. The ministry stated that global crude oil prices have risen sharply during the calculation period due to the new Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), tensions between America's Oil Company and Iran, and concerns over disruptions in oil supplies through the Hormuz Strait.

At the same time, the global market for petroleum-based products is reported to be stagnant. The ministry emphasized that the government is committed to protecting the public and the business sector from global uncertainties, including maintaining targeted BUDI Madani subsidies for eligible users. Starting from September 1, monthly quotas for BUDI95 and BUDI Diesel have been increased to 300 liters each, compared to the previous 200 liters.

Owners of four-wheel drive vehicles and diesel-powered pickup trucks that qualify will also receive an additional 100 liters, bringing their monthly allowance to 400 liters.
