Epstein survivors sue his estate over child pornography collection

Two women, identified as Jane Doe and Amy, have joined a class action lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein's estate for damages related to child pornography. The legal action, filed in Manhattan federal district court, seeks at least $6 million on behalf of more than 40 individuals featured in the late sex offender's collection of thousands of sexualized images and videos of children.

The plaintiffs allege that Epstein stole partially nude photographs of Jane Doe when she was 12, while Amy claims she is depicted in child sexual abuse material taken from Epstein's properties in 2019 that continues to circulate. The lawsuit, filed against Epstein's former attorney Darren Indyke and his former accountant Richard Kahn, who serve as co-executors of the estate, aims to create a program to notify people pictured in Epstein's collection and order his estate to pay class action members $150,000 each, along with other financial penalties.
