Commanders work out several players and host veteran free-agent OL for a visit

Coaches and front office members for the Washington Commanders spent Tuesday working out multiple players and hosting a visit from a veteran free agent offensive lineman. Players scheduled to work out included Devin Culp, Rivaldo Fairweather, Jahfari Harvey, Emany Johnson, Marvin Jones, Anfernee Orji, and Benton Whitley. Among these, Lucas Patrick, a 33-year-old with 113 NFL games under his belt, was in town for an official visit.

Patrick, who played college ball at Duke and was undrafted, has experience playing both center and guard positions throughout his career with the Packers, Bears, Saints, and Bengals. The visit allowed the Commanders to assess Patrick's potential as a valuable interior offensive line player, offering additional depth to their roster.
