The government will also consider regularising lands covered under the NALA Act upon payment of NALA charges alongside stamp duty and registration fees. A new policy will be announced for regularising unauthorised layouts and colonies established on government lands, with an official committee to examine requests for converting leasehold agreements in Secunderabad into freehold agreements.
The Chief Minister pledged that applications for regularising house sites in the L.B. Nagar area would be promptly examined and resolved.
