CJP to launch 'Adivasi School Thik Karo' on Sept 17

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, announced the launch of the Adivasi School Thik Karo campaign on September 17. The campaign aims to draw attention to the problems and discrimination faced by tribal students in India over the last 80 years. Dipke addressed a press conference in Nagpur, highlighting that schools in tribal regions have been neglected by all governments over the years. The campaign will involve CJP representatives visiting tribal schools to inspect facilities and infrastructure.

Dipke emphasized that political parties spend large sums of money on building party headquarters, but fail to provide adequate funding for tribal residential schools, which are often located in rented properties. He called for the government to prioritize tribal students and schools, noting that they have a lot of potential and represent a significant portion of the country's population.

According to Dipke, more than 590 tribal students have died in Maharashtra alone in the last two years, often due to snakebites, but these deaths receive little attention from the government.

Furthermore, Dipke highlighted that more than 30 tribal students have died in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh in the past two months, and that the families of deceased tribal students do not receive proper compensation. He also criticized the low enrolment rate of tribal students in higher education, with only 22.8 percent of tribal students enrolling in higher education and only 130 Scheduled Tribe applicants admitted to IITs.

Dipke alleged that this represents outright discrimination and urged the government to focus on improving the conditions of tribal schools and students across the country.
