China is not ready for a post-American world

China is not prepared to embrace a world without American leadership, according to wire material. However, China's reluctance to intervene is not entirely self-serving.

Moreover, China's economic slowdown has made it more dependent on exports, making it vulnerable to fluctuations in the global market. Despite these benefits, China's reluctance to engage in conflict cannot be ignored.

The country's leaders have called for a new world order that prioritizes economic development and opposes interference in internal affairs, but their efforts have been largely unsuccessful due to the diverse interests of their BRICS partners. While China may benefit from the ongoing conflict, it remains primarily reliant on the global trading order underpinned by American power. As such, China's pursuit of a post-American world remains an elusive goal for now.
