The teenager was reportedly driving from Lorong Kurau 23 towards Jalan Kurau 1 when he first struck a car parked on the road shoulder.
Nik Aminuddin explained the teen then continued driving, allegedly crossing into the wrong lane on a one-way road at Lebuh Kurau 5, where he crashed into another vehicle traveling in the correct lane. No injuries were reported in the incident. Police are conducting further investigations under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.
Nik Aminuddin urged parents and guardians to keep a close eye on their children's activities and not permit underage children to operate vehicles, as this is against the law and poses a danger to other road users.
