Abu Dhabi traffic: Heavy congestion reported on E22, E30

This morning, Abu Dhabi commuters faced heavy congestion on several major roads, according to live traffic data from Google Maps. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque interchange saw particularly slow traffic, with E22 extending towards the Rabdan junction and E30 merging with the latter. Drivers en route to Khalifa City, Mazyad Mall, and Mussafah encountered delays in the area.

E30 on Al Rawdah Road near MBZ City also reported significant congestion, stretching from the Etimad Holding/Dalma Mall Outlet area to the An Nisayah Street junction close to Mafraq. Slow-moving traffic was also observed around the ADNOC Vehicle Inspection Centre and Mafraq Traffic Department. In central Abu Dhabi, E22 near Al Wahda Mall and Mubadala Tower experienced moderate to heavy traffic, as did Mubarak Bin Mohammed Street in Al Nahyan and Al Dhafrah Street near Mussafah.

Motorists were advised to allow extra time for their journeys between Abu Dhabi city centre, Khalifa City, and Mussafah, and to check live traffic conditions before departing. Traffic conditions were based on real-time Google Maps data and were subject to change throughout the morning.
