A Customer-Centric Step by Nishat Group; JAECOO J7 and JAECOO J5 Get New Prices

Pakistan's automotive market frequently experiences price adjustments due to taxes, operating costs, and market pressures. The government's recent tax update to 18% for hybrid electric vehicles has prompted most competitors to adjust their prices, but Nishat Group, the parent company of JAECOO, is taking a unique approach. The JAECOO J7 Premium has been reduced by PKR 500,000, dropping the ex-factory price from PKR 10,499,000 to PKR 9,999,000, effective from September 14, 2026.

Despite this reduction, the price matches the original launch price announced in November 2025. In contrast, the JAECOO J5 HEV will retain its existing prices until September 30, 2026. This unconventional pricing strategy offers customers a clear window to secure the current price before potential revisions. For JAECOO J5 buyers, the deadline is October 1, 2026, to lock in the current price by paying their full balance by September 30.

This approach prioritizes customer predictability and transparency, which are crucial when making significant purchases. Nishat Group, with its diverse business experience in industries like textiles, banking, cement, dairy, and power, brings stability to the relatively young automotive segment. As the company expands its presence in Pakistan, it is also building a comprehensive dealership and after-sales infrastructure to support customers beyond the initial sale.
