2027: Barau Launches Kano North APC Campaigns, Seeks ‘Top-to-Bottom’ Victory

Senator Jibrin Barau, the Deputy President of the Senate, has urged the newly formed All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council in Kano North to ensure a comprehensive victory for the party in the 2027 general election. Speaking at the council's inauguration, Barau called for unity among party members and stakeholders, emphasizing their responsibility to mobilize voters for all candidates, from the presidency to the state House of Assembly.

He highlighted the campaign slogan "APC SAK," urging members to focus on winning "from top to bottom."

The campaign council, led by Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, has been tasked with coordinating and mobilizing support across the 13 local government areas of Kano North. Barau stressed that the council comprises stakeholders from all levels of the party, from ward to senatorial district. He encouraged those who did not secure party tickets in the primaries to set aside their unsuccessful bids and collaborate towards the party's success.

Barau emphasized that the primary elections were concluded, and all party members remained part of the same political family. He urged successful aspirants to involve former rivals and ensure their participation in the campaign, emphasizing that the success of the party ultimately benefits everyone involved. The Deputy Senate President called for intensified grassroots mobilization and urged the campaign council to galvanize party members across the senatorial district to secure overwhelming victories for the APC.
