US confirms weapons deployed in space for first time, says Space Force

The United States has confirmed the deployment of weapons in space, stating that it now possesses on-orbit space control weapons designed to protect its forces from hostile actions. Both Russia and China, the United States' primary geopolitical adversaries, are believed to be developing and utilizing space and counterspace technologies as part of their military modernization efforts.
