US confirms it has weapons in spaaaaaace

The United States has confirmed it has deployed space control weapons into orbit, though the exact nature of these weapons remains unclear. US Air Force Secretary Troy Meink hinted at the deployment during a conference, stating that the US has weapons around Earth. The deployed weapons might be capable of jamming satellite communications, firing pulses to disable electronics, or even creating a cloud of space debris through a ballistic or kinetic weapon.

The Outer Space Treaty, established in 1967, prohibits weapons of mass destruction in space, but nations have found ways to circumvent this rule. China has expressed concern over the US's expansion of military capabilities in space, urging the US to halt this trend.
