In a recent YouTube vlog, Ayo Dosunmu, a former Fighting Illini, offered blunt advice to Illinois freshman Lincoln Williams. Dosunmu, who had a successful stint with the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves, shared that head coach Brad Underwood values players who are tenacious and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
"Underwood loves psychotic motherf*ckers," Dosunmu told Williams during a workout. "Pick 'em up full court, grab every rebound, tip dunk that… you gonna play." Williams, a 6-foot-5 wing from Kankakee High School, joins Illinois after becoming the program's all-time leading scorer. He is also seen as one of the top prospects in the 2026 recruiting class and will be competing for playing time alongside other talented players.
