The new BMW 7 Series: A tribute to dedication

Alfardan Automobiles, the exclusive importer of BMW in Qatar, has launched the new BMW 7 Series in Doha, following its regional debut. This seventh-generation flagship sedan embodies BMW's legacy of innovation and luxury, combining progressive design, advanced technology and refined comfort to captivate Qatar's discerning clientele.

Ayman Berjawi, general manager of BMW – Alfardan Automobiles, expressed pride in introducing the new BMW 7 Series to the Qatari market, highlighting that customers value craftsmanship, innovation and personalized luxury in alignment with the brand's long-standing tradition. Since its introduction in 1977, the BMW 7 Series has consistently been at the vanguard of luxury-car segment advancements, introducing safety systems, new operating concepts, and sophisticated digital features.

The latest model marks the most extensive update ever executed by the BMW Group, positioning the new 7 Series as a technology leader that integrates Neue Klasse innovations into existing models. Distinctive design elements include a monolithic exterior, illuminated BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille, minimalist crystal headlights, and reduced surfaces that together define the sedan's side profile.

Customers can further personalize their vehicle with BMW Individual's extensive customization options, featuring 130 paint colors, 12 upholstery variants and over 500 two-tone color combinations. The sedan also integrates a new Dual-Finish paint concept, a world-first for BMW, which combines a matte lower body with a manually-applied metallic upper finish and hand-drawn coachline.

Inside, the 7 Series offers an opulent passenger environment, featuring leather, cloth, wood, crystal glass and metal in conjunction with modern technology. Key interior features include the new BMW Panoramic iDrive with BMW Operating System X, the debut of the BMW Passenger Screen, and optional BMW Theatre Screen for rear passengers supporting 8K streaming, gaming and video calls.

The cabin boasts an ambient-light concept, premium sound system with Dolby Atmos, panoramic glass sunroof, four-zone automatic climate control and the Travel & Comfort System. The sedan also includes upgraded seats, optional executive lounge seating, automatic doors, and a digital interior mirror. The BMW Panoramic iDrive, enhanced by intelligent voice control through the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, including Amazon Alexa+ AI technology, adds modern conveniences to the driving experience.

The 7 Series offers multiple powertrain options, including combustion engines with 48V mild-hybrid technology, plug-in hybrid systems and fully electric variants. The electric models utilize sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology with innovative cylindrical cells, offering an electric range of more than 720km under the WLTP cycle.

The sedan also incorporates intelligent charging solutions, charging-optimized route planning and adaptive recuperation. Driving dynamics and safety are emphasized, featuring standard adaptive two-axle air suspension, Integral Active Steering, Adaptive Chassis Control Professional, and roll stabilization. M Sport packages and three M Performance models inject sporting character into the sedan.

Advanced driver-assistance systems incorporate artificial intelligence and BMW Symbiotic Drive, enhancing safety and convenience with standard Park Assist and AI-supported parking-space detection and maneuver planning. For customers seeking heightened security, the BMW 7 Series Protection provides full luxury and ballistic/explosive protection, boasting VR9 certification, with VPAM 10 classification available as an option.

The new 7 Series is manufactured on a single line at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, integrating sustainability throughout its life cycle, from resource-efficient development and manufacturing to the use phase.
