Registration dates and steps announced for 2026 General Aptitude Test

The Education and Training Evaluation Commission has unveiled registration dates and procedures for the upcoming 2026 General Aptitude Test, targeting high school students. This test evaluates verbal and quantitative skills pertinent to learning processes—analytical, deductive, and inferential abilities—in students from all academic tracks aspiring to enroll in higher education institutions.

The General Aptitude Test is available digitally throughout the year for students in their second and third years of secondary school. However, the paper-based version is exclusively offered to third-year secondary students. Registration for male students commenced on Monday, while female students can register starting Wednesday.

The 2026 General Aptitude Test is scheduled to take place from December 10 to 14, 2026. Students can register via the Sadeed platform at sadeed.etec.gov.sa. For further insights into the test, including guides and sample questions, visit etec.gov.sa/l/ML3YB.

The commission emphasized that students from the second year of secondary school and beyond have five chances to take the General Aptitude Test. However, they are limited to four attempts per format: paper-based and digital.
