Raheem Sterling pleads guilty to dangerous driving after crashing his Lamborghini

Former England footballer Raheem Sterling pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court to dangerously driving a Lamborghini on the motorway earlier this year. The 31-year-old admitted to driving the Lamborghini Urus dangerously on the M25, M3, A327, and Minley Road before crashing on May 28. He also pleaded guilty to possessing six nitrous oxide cannisters for wrongful inhalation, a class C drug charge, and failing to provide a specimen for a breath test.

Witnesses reported seeing Sterling inhaling from a balloon while driving on the M3, causing concern for his safety and potential harm to others. The crash occurred on May 28, with no other vehicles involved and no injuries reported. In court, Sterling was seen with two canisters on his lap during his arrest and admitted to having a problem with nitrous oxide.

His defense lawyer argued that the damage to his car was not serious, but the magistrate ordered a pre-sentence report to determine the appropriate sentence, which is set for November 25.
