Okai Mintah urges NDC youth aspirants to strengthen grassroots mobilisation

Emmanuel Okai Mintah, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Youth Organiser aspirant, has called for intensified grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2028 general elections. In a goodwill message for the party’s forthcoming constituency elections, Mr. Mintah emphasized the crucial role of Constituency Youth Organisers in the NDC’s efforts to maintain a robust youth base.

He stressed that the position of Constituency Youth Organiser is vital, not merely a title, but the "engine room" of the party’s momentum. Mintah, who aims to lead the NDC’s youth wing nationally, highlighted the success of the Green Army during the 2024 elections. He noted that proper organisation and motivation of young people, as seen with the Green Army, can achieve remarkable results, providing a template for future campaigns.

Mintah urged NDC aspirants to approach the constituency elections with dedication, resilience, and a clear purpose. He stressed that preparations for the upcoming general election should commence immediately at the branch and constituency levels, with youth organisers playing a pivotal role in engaging activists and rallying support for the party.
