New Restriction Imposed on MDCAT Applicants

Authorities have recently imposed a new restriction on candidates taking the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT). Starting from now, students are prohibited from leaving examination centers with their question papers once they have completed the test. Universities conducting the MDCAT across all four provinces have received official instructions to collect the question papers from the candidates as soon as the examination concludes.

Examination staff must ensure that no candidate exits the examination center with the question paper in their possession. Officials will gather all question papers before permitting students to depart. This change in policy supersedes the previous arrangement where MDCAT candidates were permitted to take their question papers home following the examination.

After completing the test, students would utilize the question paper in conjunction with a copy of their answer sheet to compare their answers and estimate their expected scores. The new directive will alter this practice, impeding candidates from verifying their answers against the question paper immediately after the examination.
