Liverpool, Barcelona among teams linked for Chelsea wonderkid

Chelsea FC, known for consistently attracting top talent, has recently become a hub for some of the world's brightest stars. Among their standout players is Estevao, a Brazilian wonderkid who joined the club from Palmeiras in 2024 for a transfer fee of €60m. Despite his young age, Estevao has already made an impact in the 2025-26 season, recording four goal involvements across 22 appearances and even being included in the Brazilian national team's World Cup qualifier matches, although he did not make the final squad.

According to recent reports, two of England's most prominent clubs, Liverpool and Barcelona, are among the teams showing interest in the 19-year-old talent. Both clubs admire Estevao's ability in one-on-one situations, with Liverpool scouts particularly noting his skills in such scenarios. Chelsea, however, has no intention of selling the player, as they have valued him at a range of €110 million to €120 million.

Despite this, the club is planning to upgrade his contract, indicating their strong interest in retaining his services.

For Liverpool, signing Estevao would provide crucial depth up front, especially considering their struggles to secure major transfers since the departure of Mo Salah. The club has only made notable signings like Bradley Barcola and Victor Munoz since then. On the other hand, Barcelona might be looking to bolster their attacking options, particularly after their significant investments in Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi during the summer transfer window.
