Lagos assembly confirms 12 nominees for state commissions, boards

The Lagos State House of Assembly confirmed 12 nominees for appointments to the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency Board, and the Lagos State Audit Service Commission. The confirmation took place after a report was presented by a 12-member Screening Committee, chaired by Mr Fatai Mojeed.

The committee meticulously evaluated the nominees based on their credentials, appearance, performance, and comportment. The Assembly unanimously approved the recommendations, with the Speaker, Mr Mudashiru Obasa, voting in favor of the nominees. The confirmed members include Mr Murusiq Durosimi and Mr Ahmed Seriki for the Local Government Service Commission, former Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Yetunde Longe, and Mr Goriola Oyenusi for the LNSA Board, and Mrs Kikelomo Dawodu and Mrs Bukola Ogunowo for the Audit Service Commission.
