Lagos assembly confirms 12 nominees for state commissions, boards

The Lagos State House of Assembly recently confirmed 12 nominees for appointment to two commissions and a state agency board. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu presented the nominees to the committee for evaluation. The Screening Committee, chaired by Mr Fatai Mojeed, assessed the nominees based on their credentials, appearance, performance, and demeanor.

All 12 nominees were unanimously approved by the House. The confirmed members include Mr Murusiq Durosimi, Mr Ahmed Seriki, and Mrs Kikelomo Dawodu for the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, and Mrs Bukola Ogunowo, Mrs Omotayo Gbajabiamila-Olamona, and Mr Bowale Shosimi for the Lagos State Audit Service Commission.
