Inditex nombrará a Marta Andreia Rodrigues directora de Zara Woman

Inditex, the Spanish fashion retailer, is set to appoint Marta Andreia Rodrigues as the new director of Zara Woman, replacing Lorena Rodriguez Veiga who has led the area since 2024. Rodrigues, who has an impressive 14-year track record with the group, will take over the role from Beatriz Pad�n Santos, who has decided to leave her position with the company.

The move comes after Pad�n's departure, with Alfredo Ferro Varela, currently the director of Zara Basic, stepping in to lead Zara Woman until Rodrigues assumes her duties. Eva Perez Salgado, who has been with Inditex for 15 years, will take over as the new head of Zara Basic. During the past year and a half, Rodrigues served as the director of women for Pull&Bear and previously held other responsibilities within the Zara Basic team under Ferro's guidance.

Inditex reported a net profit of 2.980 million euros during the first half of its fiscal year 2026-2027, marking a 6.8% increase from the previous year. Sales grew by 7.6% compared to the first half of 2025, reaching 19.755 million euros, with satisfactory growth in both physical stores and online. Constant currency sales increased by 9.2%.
