I wanted desktop fences, but with real blur over my animated wallpaper
I've used Fences. It's a great, much bigger product — rules, Peek, tabs, Chameleon, all of it. I didn't need most of that. What I wanted was blur over my animated wallpaper. Fences blurs the Windows wallpaper, and with Wallpaper Engine running its blur just doesn't apply — Stardock's own forum lists that as a known limitation and suggests turning blur off.
