Hyderabad-based Software engineer drowns in Sokileru stream, five colleagues rescued

A 26-year-old software engineer, Kosuri Nilesh from Vijayawada, tragically drowned in the Sokileru stream near Chintoor in Polavaram district while bathing with five colleagues, according to a report in <source c8b280aa-769>. The incident occurred on Tuesday during a visit to the Araku Valley and Maredumilli area. Despite the tragedy, the five colleagues managed to be rescued.

The deceased's body was recovered on Tuesday evening through a joint search operation conducted by the police and Forest Department personnel. The body was sent to the Government hospital in Chintoor for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and the investigation is underway.
