Harry and Meghan to have security review and children change school

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, are set to undergo a review of their publicly funded security after moving back to the UK permanently. The committee overseeing royal and VIP security, known as Ravec, is evaluating their level of police protection now that they are full-time residents. The review will assess any risks they face in their new home, considering their regular travel routes and school runs.

It has also been reported that the Sussexes have switched schools for their two children, Archie and Lilibet, due to security concerns regarding the school run. Prince Harry had previously attempted to challenge his police security while visiting from the US, but this new set of circumstances calls for a re-evaluation of their security measures.

The Risk Management Board, comprised of representatives from the Home Office, police, and the Royal Household, will consider potential dangers and the level of protection required for the family. No final decision has been made yet. The family's decision to change schools has been made in response to the private security team's concerns about the distance and heavy traffic on the original school run route.

The Sussexes' private security team remains grateful for the care and effort shown by the school staff, emphasizing that this decision does not reflect on the school or the exceptional care their children have received. Harry recently learned that Uganda would participate in the Invictus Games next year, despite a letter sent by King Charles expressing concerns about the royal couple's status as non-working royals.
