Gurugram Hit-and-Run: First Visual Of Accused Driver Kalyan Bainsla After Arrest

Gurugram Police apprehended Kalyan Bainsla, the driver suspected in the hit-and-run of woman biker Sia, from Dausa, Rajasthan. In the first photographs of Bainsala post-arrest, displayed by ANI news agency, he can be observed being escorted by law enforcement officers to Gurugram, with his face covered by his palm as media captured the scene.

According to SHO, Dausa Sadar PS Yudhishthir, Bainsala is currently under transport to Gurugram for forthcoming inquiries and legal proceedings. The police team arrived in Dausa and apprehended Bainsala following an investigation into the incident. The addition of an attempt-to-murder charge to the FIR came after Sia and her family requested stern measures against the perpetrators and approached the police.

Initially, a case was registered at Sector 56 police station upon taking suo motu notice of a video showcasing a car colliding with the biker. Subsequently, investigators scrutinized CCTV footage and other evidence, leading to the inclusion of the attempt-to-murder charge. Sia's family has alleged that the incident was a deliberate act and identified four individuals inside the car, two of whom had their faces clearly visible. Haryana Minister Gaurav Gautam has pledged stringent action against any individual found culpable.
