Fidelity Bank gives GH¢200,000 lifeline to Ghana Medical Trust Fund

Fidelity Bank Ghana has made a significant contribution of GH¢200,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, aimed at providing specialized treatment for patients suffering from chronic non-communicable diseases. The donation was presented on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, and is part of the Bank's commitment to corporate social responsibility, which seeks to increase access to quality healthcare and save lives.

A team from Fidelity Bank Ghana, led by Deputy Managing Director Kwabena Boateng, presented the cash donation to Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund. Boateng praised the Fund's efforts in supporting Ghanaians with specialized medical care, particularly those battling chronic non-communicable diseases.

He emphasized that the donation not only showcases the Bank's dedication to corporate social responsibility but also underscores its belief in the importance of good health for national development. The Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund expressed gratitude for the timely intervention, stating that the donation would help alleviate the increasing burden of chronic non-communicable diseases and improve access to specialized medical care for vulnerable patients.
