CRM challenger Zero gets backing from Lovable and Langdock founders in $10M raise

European AI startups Lovable and Langdock have joined forces to back Finnish startup Zero, which is challenging the dominance of Salesforce and HubSpot in the customer relationship management (CRM) market. Zero secured a $10.3 million seed round led by New York-based venture firm Primary Venture Partners, with additional support from Inception Fund, Defiant, Greens, and founders from Lovable, Supercell, Langdock, and Silo AI. This seed round is the largest ever raised by a Finnish tech company.

Zero's founders, Tuomo Riekki and Santtu Koivumäki, previously co-founded AI advertising platform Smartly, which grew to $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). Riekki and Koivumäki are convinced that the traditional CRM model is outdated and that AI technology can replace not only CRM systems but also the various tools teams use for prospecting, customer success, and broader revenue operations.

Zero's AI agents handle prospect list building, outbound email sending, and customer relationship monitoring throughout the customer lifecycle, reducing manual work across the entire process.

By 2026, Zero aims to challenge CRM giants like Salesforce and HubSpot, stating that the model of relying on multiple tools for various tasks is no longer effective. Instead, Zero's AI-driven approach enables companies to win and serve more customers with smaller teams, as the tools they use will eventually handle a significant portion of the work.
