Michael Owen, a former Manchester United striker, has revealed that Harry Kane from Bayern Munich and Rodri from Barcelona are his top two contenders for the Ballon d’Or award in 2026. Thirty players have been shortlisted for the prestigious accolade, which will be unveiled in London next month. Owen acknowledges that while there are several talented players in the running, Kane's impressive performance for Bayern Munich, including his goal scoring and World Cup success, as well as Rodri's outstanding contributions to Manchester City's domestic double and World Cup triumph, make them the frontrunners in Owen's opinion.
