Apex Legends VS Street Fighter Brings Chun-Li, Ryu, Akuma, and More to the Outlands

Street Fighter's high-kicking action is set to collide with Apex Legends on September 22. This collaboration will bring Chun-Li, Ryu, Akuma, and more to the first-person battle royale from September 22, 10am PT / 1pm ET. Players can expect special skins, a POI decked out, and a Wildcard Takeover. The reward shop will feature eight iconic skins transforming Legends into Street Fighter characters and one Epic Skin for Lifeline as Li-Fen.

Art director Alisa Rastorgueva emphasized personality, playstyle, and silhouette matching when creating skins, with Sparrow as Ryu and Alter as Chun-Li being highlights. Other skins include Bangalore as Elena, Mirage as Luke, Gibraltar as Akuma, Wattson as Cammy, Caustic as Blanka, and Pathfinder as Dhalsim. Eight Legendary Street Fighter 6-themed weapon skins are also available.

Olympus will be given a Street Fighter makeover, with bright colors, graffiti, giant balloons, and silver statues of the eight characters. Punch Trucks can be beaten up for Fight Gauge tokens. Wildcard Takeover transforms the first-person shooter into a brawl, where players use Street Fighter skills to punch and kick opponents. A third-person combat mode, Fighter Form, allows players to select one of four fighters (Ryu, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, and Akuma) and use their unique abilities in an all-out brawl until one squad remains.
