Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has addressed recent retirement rumors sparked by a cryptic blog post, assuring fans he has no plans to leave the entertainment industry. The speculation arose after his previous online reflection on Ganesh Chaturthi, where he mentioned that his words can sometimes be misunderstood. In the earlier post, Bachchan signed off with the phrase "and I retire," which led fans to speculate he was planning to retire from acting.
However, in his latest blog update, he clarified that he was simply signing off for the night, not retiring from his career. He joked that fans were not invited to accompany him to sleep and expressed concern over the rush to interpret and report on his statements, particularly when context is lost or language is misunderstood. Despite the premature retirement rumors, Bachchan remains a prominent figure in Bollywood, currently hosting the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati for multiple seasons.
