YPM FC juara sulung Liga Rakyat Pahang 1st Piala Al-Sultan Abdullah

In a thrilling final at Stadium Darul Makmur, Kuantan, YPM FC achieved an historic first by becoming the champions of the Liga Rakyat Pahang 1st Piala Al-Sultan Abdullah after defeating Majlis Daerah Raub (MDR) 2-1. Wan Muhammad Akmal Hakim Wahab scored for YPM in the 13th minute, and Nasyrullah Mohd Zaki doubled the lead for YPM in the 40th minute. MDR managed to come back in the second half, with Zaiful Zakwan Arnain scoring in the 80th minute, but YPM held on to their advantage until the final whistle.

The victory meant that YPM FC earned a cash prize of RM40,000, while MDR received RM20,000 as the runners-up. The final match was also attended by Sultan Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.
