Varun Chakaravarthy ruled out of Afghanistan T20I series
The injury comes as a blow for Varun Chakaravarthy and India. He had recently recovered from a hamstring injury that had kept him out of white ball matches in England in July. In the first T20I against Afghanistan, the 35-year-old picked up a wicket while conceding just 16 runs in his four overs.
