Sussanne Khan says mom Zarine’s death brought her closer to Hrithik Roshan’s mom, shares ‘warm’ bond with Saba Azad

Fashion designer Sussanne Khan has revealed that the loss of her mother, Zarine Khan, in November 2025 has further strengthened her bond with Hrithik Roshan's mother, Pinkie Roshan. Speaking on the Honestly Why Not podcast, Sussanne expressed that their relationship has grown "so beautiful" over the past year, particularly after losing her own mother.

She noted that her mother-in-law's love for her reminded her of the affection her own mother used to show, prompting her to reciprocate that love and respect towards Pinkie. Sussanne also shared that both mothers have been affectionate and proud of her, reinforcing the emotional connection between the two families. Additionally, Sussanne highlighted the warmth of her relationship with Saba Azad, another close family member, emphasizing that their bond is equally "warm" and that she considers herself part of a "happy family" now.
